Get ready to connect with the global Digital Twins of the Ocean (DITTO) community! This exciting online event will bring together innovators, researchers, and ocean enthusiasts from around the world for two days of inspiring sessions, lively discussions, and new collaborations. Serving as an open platform for dialogue, the event will explore innovative developments, cutting-edge research, and the evolving landscape of Digital Twin Ocean technologies, methodologies, and real-world applications.
A key focus will be on the work of DITTO Working Groups, as well as contributions from endorsed projects, partners, and community-driven efforts. Discussions will span a wide range of topics—from next-generation Digital Twin architectures, modeling techniques, and AI-driven applications to data integration, stakeholder engagement, ethics, and co-design strategies. Participants will also present practical case studies demonstrating how Digital Twins are transforming ocean observation, knowledge sharing, and sustainable management.
Each day will feature two blocks of sessions to ensure broad global participation:
- Morning sessions (Europe/Africa time) to engage colleagues from the Asia-Pacific region.
- Afternoon sessions (Europe/Africa time) for participants across the Americas.
